FAQ'S

How do I place an order? 

1) Please either purchase a listing or a custom costume deposit to add your name to our purchased costume queue

2) email us  and ask for a measurement form @ Co9dance@gmail.com  OR

email us  the following information: 

A) CHEST, WAIST, HIP AND GIRTH MEASUREMENTS 

B) the date you would ideally like the costume by 

C) Any Inspiration with notes, music and budget

PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP ALL THE INFORMATION IN ONE EMAIL. IF YOU FORGOT SOMETHING ADD IT TO THE ORIGINAL EMAIL AND RESEND IT MARKED REVISED WITH THE DATE SO ALL THE INFORMATION IS IN ONE PLACE. 

Please refrain from sending multiple emails with updated information, if any information changed such as measurements, address , colors etc please resend the measurement sheet with a revised date with all the information once.  

If you’re not sure about a color please request a swatch or two early on. If mistakes are made regarding color, or due to not submitting measurements or due to changes etc we will remake the costume but we will have to do it when our schedule allows so please make sure all the information sent is correct. 

How does pricing work? 

Custom costumes that we make as a dance base plain that require us to make a custom pattern cost $250 + 

adding rhinestones and appliques costs usually 

$150 for basic rhinestoning materials and labor)

$250-300+ for those who love sparkle for a total of $500-750+

 

Very stoned $700-$1000+ 

Smallest sizes can be less ( Small and Medium Child sizes) and Large Adult sizes can be more

Skating costumes with intricate details and stoning can start at $600- $1000+

 

What is the Design Process?

1) You place an order and we add it to our queue

2) If your order is requesting a custom design we will sketch something for your approval a few weeks into the process, then once approved ..

3) We order materials and wait for them to arrive

4) We make custom patterns using your measurements, then cut , sew and do finishing stitches.  

5) the sewing, appliquéing and rhinestoning takes place the day before or the day that your costume is due to ship. 

6) PLEASE NOTE: prior to your due date based on when you purchased we are waiting on materials and are making patterns . 

**There will be NO communication during this time. The only time we will communicate with you is if something is unclear on your order request or measurement sheet or the day before or day of costume completion. So please do not worry or stress if you don’t hear from us.  We will only reach out if there is a problem. 

****IF YOU LIVE LOCALLY REQUEST A FITING IN YOUR INITIAL EMAIL TO US

although if the measurements are accurate this is not needed but offered! You will have to make yourself available on production day! before stoning commences! 

7) If your order is a NEW design We quickly snap a few photos, drop your package at Fed ex and usually will send a photo . If it is a repeat style we will not photograph it. 

8)The tracking information is automatically emailed to you so be sure to add us as a contact so it does not go to your junk mail. 

How long does the entire process take?

GENERALLY these are the approximate times from the day you order :

MAY- JUNE  orders. 2-3 WEEKS or FASTER ! 

JULY - AUGUST orders 6-8  WEEKS

SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER orders 8 + WEEKS 

JANUARY-FEBRUARY orders -  8-10 WEEKS!  

MARCH- APRIL- 3-4 WEEKS 

PLEASE understand if you ASK for a expedited costume because you are having a costume emergency the only way for us to squeeze in another costume in a quick turn around time is if we already have another one of its kind being made on a certain day and are able to add to the days production and add staff to do it.

The most orders come in in JULY - SEPTEMBER so the earlier you in the season the sooner you will receive it! 

 

PLEASE consider booking your spot EARLY this year (MAY-JUNE) or at least in JULY  to avoid any disappointment!   

 

Also keep in mind we cannot control fed ex or UPS mishaps or the weather so allowing extra time is crucial! And I am only one human trying my best to get deliver a quality gorgeous costume on time to everyone! 

Does CO9 make group costumes?

YES!  we work with many dance studios, High school dance teams and choreographer's. We LOVE working with both local and far away teams!
