Stacey L Guggenheim "Elle" has been working in the Children's Apparel Industry her entire career. She graduated with a BFA in Apparel Design from RISD in 1989 and has served as a Design Director for several well know children's brands.
Elle and her twin daughters grew up dancing. Her twin daughters , now 25 danced competitively also. The are also creative and have careers in fashion and journalism.They studied ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, tap and hip hop. Dance Conventions in NYC were their favorite weekend activity! Eventually Elle started altering then sewing then making dance costumes for her daughters from scratch.
In 2014 Elle started her own dance brand. Having a background and degree in design and pattern making and tailoring didn't hurt!
Elle also worked at Weissman Dance in St Louis Missouri where she directed a large team of talented designers in the creation of recital and competitive dance costumes. Her focus was on Lyrical, Contemporary and Jazz Costumes.
Today her brand is known as Co9 LUXE DANCE COSTUMES on Etsy and CO9 Dance Costumes on Instagram.
Co9 creates dance costumes for several High School dance teams and also love working with dancers and choreographers locally. We are located in Pawley's Island SC and love to work with local dancers and their Mom's or coaches for a custom design cobsultation.
